REPLY® BYOPAD™ 3.0
OPERATORS QUICK START UP GUIDE
The first step is to either install EdiVote® Pro 3.0 on your PC or laptop, or upgrade to EdiVote® Pro 3.0 if you have been using EdiVote® 100 or an earlier version of EdiVote® Pro. Then register your EdiVote® Pro 3.0 software with the user name and password provided to you by Infowhyse.
After successful installation and registration of EdiVote® PRO 3.0 (hereinafter referred to as EV3) and Reply® BYOPAD™ 3 (hereinafter referred to as BYOPAD™), open your Microsoft® PowerPoint® for Windows.

Step 1: Launch Hardware Manager

Step 2: Add BYOPAD™ V3

NB: If the intention is to combine Hardware (e.g., Reply® Interact Series Keypads) with BYOPAD™, please press “Autodetect USB” first and configure your physical keypads before pressing “Add BYOPAD™ V3” to add the BYOPAD™ participants.
STEP 3: Setup a BYOPAD™ Session

1. URL
This is set by default. You can press the “Check Button” to confirm that the connection is “OK”.
2. MY SESSION TEMPLATES
This area will display all sessions created by your user. This will allow you to quickly restore sessions that have been used before, so you don’t need to setup your session details each time you want to use it (this will be filled out automatically).
3. SESSION NAME
This is the name that will be displayed to the user if there is more than one session available for the same EVENT Code
4. EVENT CODE
This is the event code that your users will need to insert on their virtual device (e.g., Smartphone) after visiting www.byopad.online. !IMPORTANT! Do not use event codes that are easily recognisable or somebody that has not been invited may try to access your event when checking out the website. Especially when you are working for a global company, your Event Code should be different from your company name when running sensitive meetings.
5. GENERATE RANDOM
If unsure about a specific EVENT Code, “Generate Random” will generate a secure random Event Code for your audience.
6. LOWEST AND HIGHEST KEYPAD NUMBER
This is filled out automatically according to your license.
7. SESSION TYPE
There are 3 Session Types available:
1. Anonymous (No Session Password): Everybody that types in this Event Code can join your Session
2. Anonymous (with Session Password): Everybody that types in this Event Code and has the correct Session Password will be able to join your session. The field to insert the Session Password will appear once selected.
3. Identified Login (Individual Password): In this scenario, every keypad will have to have a specific individual password. No password can be set twice. The field to upload your passwords (csv file) will appear once selected.
8. Mode
BYOPAD™ has two modes
A. Virtual Keypad Mode: The participant will see a simulated Reply® Interact Keypad on the screen of their own device.
B. LIVE Display Mode: The participant will see the Question and the Answer Options on their smartphone or other mobile device and can decide which of those Answer Options they would like to select.
9. Store Settings
When finished, press “New Template” to store your Settings.

In this sample, the participants can now go to https://www.byopad.online and enter the Eventcode “IW#202107”
